Course outline
Learn by doing – a hands-on introduction to the fascinating world of computer programming. No prior knowledge needed – start from scratch and finish with your very own simple game.
This eight-week course is suitable for absolute beginners of all ages. First, you will learn the basic building blocks that create programs. Step by step, you will learn a concept, and then practise it together using the simple yet powerful Python language. In the second half of the course you will use what you’ve learnt to create your own computer game. You’ll leave this course with a solid understanding of how programs work, and well prepared to continue learning should you wish.
