Tourism, Travel with Business
This course focuses on the necessary skills required in the Tourism and Travel Industry. Skills (developed) include travel agency, airlines, languages, IT Skills, reception, guiding, tour operators, heritage, car hire, cruise liners and other areas of travel and tourism.
Students will also have access Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Galileo, which is used for airline and hotel booking.
Students will also have the opportunity to travel and work abroad with our Erasmus+ partners on a three week work placement throughout Europe.

For mature applicants appropriate experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
One year full time with progressing to QQI Level 6.
Participants will be required to undertake 10 days of work placement in a relevant location. The College will assist participants in identifying suitable placements.
