‘On the way’   St. John’s Central College graduate exhibition 2017

On the Way Graduate Exhibition

St. John’s Central College extends an open invitation for all to visit the college on Sawmill street Cork to see it’s 2017 graduate exhibition.

For over a quarter of a century thousands of students have been taking the further education route in St. John’s College and have used the opportunity to prepare themselves for employment or further studies.

This year’s exhibition features creativity from twenty courses with displays of student work in Art, Design, Computer, Media, Engineering and hand-craft areas.

There will be displays on all four floors of the college’s main building with hundreds of pieces of work presented in a very professional manner.

Visitors to the exhibition will see student creativity expressed in a range of areas from fashion design to painting, musical instrument making to photography, film screenings to computer games demonstrations.

The public are welcome to come to the opening on Friday May 26 from 6:30pm to 9pm.

There will be live music provided by the St. John’s Gospel choir and film screenings of the work by the TV and Film production courses on the night.

The exhibition will also be open to the public Monday May 29 and Tuesday May 30 from 9:30am to 4pm daily.
